M. built us this table today. How great is that? I love it. We covered it with Echino oilcloth. I got mine from this super nice etsy seller. When the top gets screwed on, I'll show you the great outdoor dining table we made together.
Screw it, I showered and washed my hair last night. I have to be out all day and I want to be clean.
PS - my hair smells GREAT.
Day 5: Bleh. I showered, I vinegar rinsed, I feel permanently gross and I think this has little to do with the hair and a lot to do with strawberry shortcakes and how much I miss the gloom of winter. The end.
Day 4: Non-shower day. Don't feel greasy. Coming down with a cold or something, may just park myself in front of the TV and crochet all day.
Day 3: Fine. Took shower with hair in a bun, used vinegar rinse again. Pretty sure I'm still greasy under there but the rest of me is clean and that's good enough. Yard work was hot and sticky yesterday, I needed this shower.
Day 2: Easy. This is a non-shower day anyway and I have to do yard work today which I prefer to not get all clean just to get dirty and sweaty for.
I woke up feeling clean anyway though, but creaky in my neck. Sleeping in braids = sad.
Day 1a: Shower taken, vinegar rinse applied. Feeling somewhat gross, but that's probably more to do with the mugginess outside. Surviving at least.
Now onto more important matters. Those big leafed plants? They're tobacco. We're growing them in the front yard as a place-holder this year until we figure out what we want to do perennially. I love the way water sounds when it hits those giant leaves. So tropical. I need a beach vacation.
Day 1: Haven't showered yet but already feeling antsy about the greasebomb on my head. Already redid my braids higher, tighter, and farther back on my head to prep for eventual shower. May pour a vinegar rinse over head to squash fears, but will not undo braids or legitimately try to wash hairs.
Cut a gardenia blossom from one of the plants yesterday to keep on my desk. Revived my mood this morning when I came into the office.
